Product Review: Not a successful purchase!
Looked like a great value bike but the first one arrived, set it up and the front wheel seemed out of alignment with the brakes which were constantly rubbing. Sent it back, got the 2nd one professionally set up, the guys mentioned a problem with the gears slipping but they had done the best they could. After a couple of rides I found the gears where indeed slipping, they tried to alter them again, but gave up. The seat was uncomfortable too, but not a problem with the many gel pads out there...would be nice if the seat was comfortable in the first place though, to avoid incurring extra expense.

I don't doubt this is a good value bike, and for most people who buy it, they are pleased. I obviously had a couple of bad ones, so don't want anyone to be put off trying it.

Product Review: Cheap but solid = worth the buy.
Arrived very quickly and was pretty simple to put together although I had some trouble fitting the brakes and had to ask a neighbour to help me. Other then that it was very easy to put together and is an excellent bike for the price. I have been on several bike rides now over a total distance of about 10 miles and the bike is holding up fine. My only recommendation would be to get another saddle or wear padded shorts as the current one is very hard and will leave your backside numb and, most likely, sore the next day.

- Relatively cheap
- It works
- ....it's cheap!

Cons:
- Hard saddle
- Some may find the brakes fiddly to fit
- Numb bum ;-)

Product Review: Quick Delivery and good bike
Bike arrived quicker than they estimated. (3 days for delivery) It was easy to put together and when complete is a reasonably light bike that feels efficient to pedal. My daughter loves the colours and also loves the fact it is so light and easy to pedal. It took about 30 mins to assemble and when assembled all the brakes and gears worked without adjustment. We have not used the bike on the trail yet but my older daughter also has an AT20 and it has been reliable and robust and so I have no concerns on this one. I would have no reservation for anyone buying this bike for the use we have. (Bike tracks, some hill tracks and suburban commuting tracks. We do not do real hard mountain biking). I cannot comment on its use as a hard ridden mountain bike.

Product Review: DANGEROUS!
I purchased this product as it was at very good price and the brand was regarded as decent, Oh how wrong was I!? I took the bike out about 4 times for small comfortable rides of about 8 miles however the first time I went to take it out with a group of friends for the day the handle bars snapped and I was left plummeting down a hill mostly on my head! Had I not of been wearing a helmet I could have been severely hurt, I am currently involved in a legal dispute with the manufacturer over compensation. Amazon has been excellent during the whole process but I cannot stress this anymore.....DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BIKE! It is lethal! I was suckered in with a cheap price but I have indeed fallen fowl of this. I say again DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!

It's rare to find an 18 inch wheel bike with gears, and I was pleased to find this one. Some of the components are of a lower quality than you might find on, eg, a Raleigh bike costing significantly more. But nevertheless this is solidly built, and rides well.

Product Review: Teething troubles
I saw this bike and immediately loved the look of it. I bought it and it was delivered promptly. However when it arrived the gears were not tuned and therefore slipped. Also after a few months one of the main components had broken. That being said, KCP gave excellent customer service in terms of communication and replacing the faulty component. So despite teething problems, the bike runs great.

Product Review: adjust your gears before you ride
gears and brakes need to be adjusted before you ride this bike! if you do not, you risk breaking the derailleur, or possibly even damaging the chain/gearbox. you can also lock the brakes pretty easily out of the box, so do not ride it out of the box!
the gearbox isn't the best of shimano's, but it gives a smooth ride and the gear changes are quick and on the spot. The suspension isn't the best out there, but its a noticeable improvement over hardback bikes. Recommend it for a budget purchase

Product Review: super confy
The first strength is obviously the colour, with that black and bronze (rather than gold) that is very attractive. The second strength is the comfort since the suspension really shuts all the vibrations so it goes smoothly on all the kind of paths.
What I believe is the real weakness is the gear that, although is Shimano, does not look top quality. Sometimes the chain set loses the grip and, especially at the high speed makes a nasty sound at every revolution.
In overall I greatly enjoy this bike but I believe that at 250 quid is overpriced.

My addiction to this book meant that I would roll up to school a good hour before before school ended just so I could settle down, on my own, and greedily read this fabulous book.I love all the books Michener wrote as 'faction' is my favourite style of literature.I love reading and can speed read lightweight novels in a couple of hours and enjoy them in a light superficial beach/holiday kind of way. This book took me weeks and I felt totally bereft after finishing it.It was as if a very good friend had emmigrated,sad I know,but such was the thrall the story held me in.Just try putting it down and leaving it. Great bike for the money, well boxed no damage and easy to assemble, my son loves it. Down side, to get it cheap it took over a month to deliver, the front tyre was delivered with a puncture. The only real floor in the manufacturing is that with a click position de-railer you cant fine tune its position and so when the chain is running at an angle it rubs against it, and is irritating.

Delivery was late but made contact by email to the company they were very fast with replying and sorting out and also refunded my delivery charge.
Th bike is good value for money, a few things that i have found was a down size is that the tyres stink very nasty of rubber used bike and well weatherd and they still smell strong may be having them changed, also bike very heavy, i have replaced the seat to a wider one and more comfort one but thats my choice nothing wrong with the sadle it comes with i just perfer a wider one not a pin to sit on. apart from that great bike.

Product Review: Shimano Deore Mountain Bike Crank 44T 175
So simple and easy to fit, and saves so much weight it's perfect for budget upgrades. I have this running along side s-ram chain and gear shifters and it works a treat. I don't feel the need to be saving more weight so this'll do me just nicely.
