Product Review: Good but do leak a little under heavy rain
Bought a pair size 43 to replace an older pair of similar Shimano winter boots. Do be aware that these boots have a reputation of being small for their stated size so if you normally take a 42, consider buying 43. It's not just the shoe fit that you need to consider but the wrap around ankle sealing is not going to be too tight!
The other consideration is that these shoes are not the easiest to get into but they do at least have a finger hoop on the rear of the Neoprene ankle cover to help getting your feet in without pulling on the stretchy Neoprene part itself. Mine are currently less than a week old without any serious rain so will update on just how water resistant they are.
My last pair were designed differently with only two straps where these have three - I'm not convinced three is required because the toe strap doesn't do much. My other pair of normal weather Shimano shoes have a ratchet system on the main strap that I personally prefer.
All I...
