Product Review: Not a successful purchase!
Looked like a great value bike but the first one arrived, set it up and the front wheel seemed out of alignment with the brakes which were constantly rubbing. Sent it back, got the 2nd one professionally set up, the guys mentioned a problem with the gears slipping but they had done the best they could. After a couple of rides I found the gears where indeed slipping, they tried to alter them again, but gave up. The seat was uncomfortable too, but not a problem with the many gel pads out there...would be nice if the seat was comfortable in the first place though, to avoid incurring extra expense.

I don't doubt this is a good value bike, and for most people who buy it, they are pleased. I obviously had a couple of bad ones, so don't want anyone to be put off trying it.

Product Review: Cheap but solid = worth the buy.
Arrived very quickly and was pretty simple to put together although I had some trouble fitting the brakes and had to ask a neighbour to help me. Other then that it was very easy to put together and is an excellent bike for the price. I have been on several bike rides now over a total distance of about 10 miles and the bike is holding up fine. My only recommendation would be to get another saddle or wear padded shorts as the current one is very hard and will leave your backside numb and, most likely, sore the next day.

Pros:
- Relatively cheap
- It works
- ....it's cheap!

Cons:
- Hard saddle
- Some may find the brakes fiddly to fit
- Numb bum ;-)

Product Review: poorly built at factory
As a beginner cyclist I thought this seemed like a good place to start.The bike arrived well packaged and promptly.However the front forks were on the wrong way,the bolts supplied to fit the mud gaurd had no thread and wouldn't tighten and finally the back tyre blew the moment I sat on the bike-and no I am not the size of an elephant.
That said my local bike shop sorted out the lot for a tenner and now I am delighted with the bike.A smooth and comfortable ride

Product Review: Nice inexpensive bike
I have received this today and assembled it straight away.

Firstly, I have knocked off a star since only one allen key was supplied, but two sizes were needed for assembly. I don't feel this is a big problem though since there is no excuse for not owning a set of your own.

I took it out for a quick test spin and was later confident enough to ride for about an hour. I already had a replacement saddle so can't comment on that but it looked better than the typical saddle provided with a bike in this price range.

Overall very nice, quite light and as such, very quick. I am used to riding a mountain bike so it feels a bit odd riding a hybrid, but I am confident that I'll get used to it.

Included are metal mudguards, the rear is pre fitted and the front is simple enough. This also comes with a pre installed pannier rack. These are nifty features despite not being overly important for me.

To summarise, a really nice bike. I will update...

Product Review: Good bike, but get a seat cover!
I love this bike I've had it since January so its been through all sorts of weather. comes with very good tyres.
It's not a road bike so it isn't built for speed but it's fun to ride.
my one tip; get a gel seat cover! I ride over cobbles and potholes every day and the seat provided is like being slapped in the bottom with a brick. =)

Product Review: Pretty good bike, takes some time to get it to fit right
Bike came in speedily with prime. Well-packaged. Easy to put together for someone with some basic experience in the workings of bicycles. You don't have to mess with the gearshift or tensioner to put anything on.

Problems with assembly: the included tool is rubbish. You'll need some allen keys and a proper adjusting wrench to adjust the brake placement (I switched my brake levers, as I am from the US, where we put our front brake on the left) and the seat, respectively.

The tires come inflated only enough to stop them from getting damaged in shipping. You'll want a bike pump or some other method of pumping them up if you plan to use it right away - my friend and I walked to a petrol station to fill them up, for example.

That said, when you get the bike up, running, and fitting you properly, it is rather solid and quite nice. Once you make sure that the tensioner is set right, gearshifts go smoothly enough (though not nearly as nicely as some higher-end...
