Product Review: Very good bike computer - but don't take it out in the rain!!!
After a long user of the Forerunner series, I decided to buy a specific bike computer and went for what I thought was the best. I have to say, the functionality of the Garmin Edge 800 was fantastic and after buying the navigation maps, which are a must if it is used correctly, was over the moon with it!

Sadly, about two months ago a friend saw this unit on my bike and explained that he had just had his replaced due to a fault. Apparently, he went out in a typical UK summers day and it rained lightly. On his return, the unit had stopped working and he had it replaced. I should have known but today I too got caught out in a downpour and on my return found that the unit had stopped working. Although it will turn on, it will no longer interact with the computer and "Malfunctioning Device and USB Device Error" keeps coming up time and time again. Product Review: Not a successful purchase!
Looked like a great value bike but the first one arrived, set it up and the front wheel seemed out of alignment with the brakes which were constantly rubbing. Sent it back, got the 2nd one professionally set up, the guys mentioned a problem with the gears slipping but they had done the best they could. After a couple of rides I found the gears where indeed slipping, they tried to alter them again, but gave up. The seat was uncomfortable too, but not a problem with the many gel pads out there...would be nice if the seat was comfortable in the first place though, to avoid incurring extra expense.

I don't doubt this is a good value bike, and for most people who buy it, they are pleased. I obviously had a couple of bad ones, so don't want anyone to be put off trying it.

This bike came yesterday and I love it already. Very easy to put together it took me about an hour to get it ready to ride although I had to dismantle the rear brake as it was sticking. Once assembled though, I have to say I am very happy. The bike is a joy to ride and it looks great.

Product Review: Satmap Active 10 Plus with GB map
Although I've only had my Satmap for 2 months, so far, it's done everything I've required of it.
Given that I acquired mine with the full GB 1/50,000 mapping for a very similar, if not better, price than the Memorymap 3500, I would say that not only does the Satmap appear to be a far better device (based upon customer reviews I've read for the Memorymap 3500), it is also better value. Additionally, the Satmap (so far) has worked well and proved dependable. Admittedly I've only used it for short walks of a maximum of about 2 hours, but the rechargeable battery life appears to last well, and I've had no trouble picking up a satellite fix even beneath dense tree cover. I've also found it to give reasonably accurate grid references which I've used for plotting a survey in a cad program. One minor gripe is the awkward way of changing from the rechargeable battery to AAs, which could for example be a bit of a pain if the rechargeable pack runs out in the middle of a hike, say in lousy...

Product Review: Great light let down by bad build quality and poor bracket
I bought one of these lights and thought I should add my experiences after 3 months use.

The light itself is great - the battery life is just as advertised and the feedback on the display about the remaining battery life is accurate. The light levels are great and this light is great for long rides in dark lanes. I bought mine to cope with an overnight ride and the beam was great and the endurance was more than enough. My only initial concern was the build quality of the light - which feels plasticky and cheap.

The strap on bracket is pretty rubbish - trelock used to make a much more sensible design which tightens with a screw. These are still available from some German sellers (if you get google to tell you what the german for "Trelock front light bracket" is). I did this and those few euros for the new bracket made for a great system. For a while.

Product Review: Cheap but solid = worth the buy.
Arrived very quickly and was pretty simple to put together although I had some trouble fitting the brakes and had to ask a neighbour to help me. Other then that it was very easy to put together and is an excellent bike for the price. I have been on several bike rides now over a total distance of about 10 miles and the bike is holding up fine. My only recommendation would be to get another saddle or wear padded shorts as the current one is very hard and will leave your backside numb and, most likely, sore the next day.

Product Review: Quick Delivery and good bike
Bike arrived quicker than they estimated. (3 days for delivery) It was easy to put together and when complete is a reasonably light bike that feels efficient to pedal. My daughter loves the colours and also loves the fact it is so light and easy to pedal. It took about 30 mins to assemble and when assembled all the brakes and gears worked without adjustment. We have not used the bike on the trail yet but my older daughter also has an AT20 and it has been reliable and robust and so I have no concerns on this one. I would have no reservation for anyone buying this bike for the use we have. (Bike tracks, some hill tracks and suburban commuting tracks. We do not do real hard mountain biking). I cannot comment on its use as a hard ridden mountain bike.

Although this bike carrier is one of the more expensive models on the market, it's worth every penny and Amazon had the best price too. Product Review: A nice looking bike
I bought the bike for my son's 5th birthday and was very pleased when I took it out of the box. It is quite big for him even though he is average height for his age. The only downside I found was the spanner that came with it was very flimsy and bent as soon as I tried to use it. Product Review: Disappointed with Barracuda
I received this cycle and after 2 weeks it started to make a clicking and grinding noise from the Bottom Bracket I tried tightening everything I could think of but it still persisted.
I returned this one and was sent a replacement however today the same issues has started with the replacement cycle I have had it checked out and it is the Bottom Bracket that is again broken.
Not sure why 2 would be the same unless it is cheaper less quality parts.
I am not bothering to return this cycle as the last one took 3 weeks to get it collected and returned by Yodel and eventually as I got near to being charged for the replacement Amazon sent City Link to collect my return then 1 week later Yodel turned up.

Product Review: DANGEROUS!
I purchased this product as it was at very good price and the brand was regarded as decent, Oh how wrong was I!? I took the bike out about 4 times for small comfortable rides of about 8 miles however the first time I went to take it out with a group of friends for the day the handle bars snapped and I was left plummeting down a hill mostly on my head! Had I not of been wearing a helmet I could have been severely hurt, I am currently involved in a legal dispute with the manufacturer over compensation. Amazon has been excellent during the whole process but I cannot stress this anymore.....DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BIKE! It is lethal! I was suckered in with a cheap price but I have indeed fallen fowl of this. I say again DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Product Review: look like a right chump
Im sure this bike is good, but as a man , riding on this down some north shore stuff in our local forest - too be fair i did look like an absolute pratt. The bike did not fair well off a large jump - with me going over the handlebars and a lot of people laughing at me.

However that said - with a model of ET borrowed from my mate and a fake pony tail attached in my hair, it certainly felt a lot more like a good buy!

Product Review: A good, solid bike for the money
It's rare to find an 18 inch wheel bike with gears, and I was pleased to find this one. Some of the components are of a lower quality than you might find on, eg, a Raleigh bike costing significantly more. But nevertheless this is solidly built, and rides well.
Minimal assembly is required.

Product Review: A brilliant way for little ones to ride on a bike!
I'd been looking at Weerides for a while and after hearing some good things about them, I decided to buy one and I'm so glad I did. Our little one loves it!! She's 11 months old and a little smaller than average for her age but the straps hold her in very securely. She has great fun looking around as we're cycling around and happily chats away all through the ride. I like it as my arms surround her and can always see whether she's happy or not. And not having this weight behind me randomly shifting around is great!
All in all, I would highly recommend the Weeride (we bought the delux). It's safe and secure, made very well and having the child in front of you makes very a very confident ride where the nipper can enjoy the view and interact with the adult rider.

Product Review: good product but ?
Good saddle more padding than the plain gel flow but the saddle rails are round on one side and flat on the other side also deeper than the standard 7mm rails of normal saddles, so make sure your saddle rail clamps are big enough to clamp the saddle rails which are about 8.5-9mm. I returned mine because my saddle clamps were to small no problem with Amazon though everything went smoothly
