Product Review: Beautiful five star bike...
This my 96th review to date and only around my seventh or eighth five star unique product review (some of the other five star reviews were for the same items under different listings).

I bought my Pioneer 2 around four weeks ago - with the aim of finally getting myself back into shape - and have rarely been off it since (apart from eating, sleeping and working of course!). If you've only ever been used to Toys R Us bikes like myself, this is sooooo different. Of course this is more than twice the cost price of those but you can literally feel this is in an entirely different class. You can also spend more - the Pioneer 3 is another fifty or so quid but a budget's a budget and this fitted mine exactly. Riding this bike is effortless with the gear shifts so smooth and very much unlike my previous cheaper cycles. It's also dead silent, albeit probably because I had it set up by a pro bike builder.

Product Review: Good bike but poor quality standard consumables
Pleased with this bike but the consumables such as the brake pads that are supplied are very poor quality and wear out within weeks of first riding the bike. If you're looking for a budget bike then factor in replacement parts factor too. Good for a first road bike though.

Product Review: Tips on assembly
PACKAGING AND UNBOXING

Delivered in just two days with regular shipping, the bike was packed in a single cardboard box measuring 120 x 66 x 18cm marked 'Made in Sri Lanka'.

There was no invoice included. Unboxed, it appears as shown in my product photograph above. All the parts were in good condition. The front wheel, the handlebars, seat and pedals were all detached, as were the front and rear reflectors. The kit comes with two Allen keys and a wrench tool (pictured above) but you will need to provide your own Phillips screwdriver. Please also note that the tyres are deflated when delivered and a bicycle pump is not included.

looked all over trying to get kit to go with my Lapierre bike finally ending up on amazon , really good quality and fit , took forever to arrive and delivery dates all over the place , but all that was forgotten when they arrived printing is clear , padding in the shorts is good quality . price was great value too , i think the long delivery could be because they are made to order in which case the price is fantastic .

Fantastic bit of kit, I had the edge 500 before this and thought that was good but this is far better, Great maps (a bit expensive) Trail 1:50 that came with it is very good off road (Garmin need to update there route planning facility on Garmin connect so you can use it to its full potential). The city navigator map was great gets you home when lost, yes I did try this not planned :( Recommend to anyone who is looking for a neat bit of kit with fantastic navigation for Trail or road its a must for any cyclist.
I wouldn't recommend getting lost just to try to get back home using it though, especially when you are worn out.
