Description: The 2013 Diamondback Outlook features all that Diamondback have learned from the development of their new trail frames, but they are designed around a smaller travel fork for the rider that may want to use their bike for everything from total off-road to the ride to work. The Outlook is a great styled bike with great spec that brings you a mountain bike that is balanced between the rough terrain and smoothing the pot holes of the streets. The Outlook is the second model in this years Diamondback hardtail line up. It has several upgrades over the entry entry level Overdrive. With top name parts from Shimano, Suntour Kenda and WTB the Outlook can handle most things on the trail. There's now front and rear mechanically actuated disc brakes and upgraded Suntour forks with 80mm travel. Very capable off-road level MTB.

Product Review: A bike that meets all my expectations!
Its been ten years since I've owned or even been on a mountain bike. I had done a little research prior to deciding on this one. I popped into a local bike shop for some advice and based on their answers (as they tried to sell me a less well equipped bike for the same money) I walked away armed with the knowledge I needed to get this.

Set up was easy, attach the handle bars, seat and front wheel. I even adjusted the brakes with a little help from YouTube. Perfect size for me (22"). BTW - this does have manual 'lock out', not mentioned in the technical data.

I'm planning offroad riding at some point and I think that this will allow me to do just that, its no downhill race winner, but some routes through the woods should be just the ticket.

Its great to get out in the fresh air again!
