Kingston Men's Sloane City Bike - Silver, 22 Inch Product Description
Description: The Kingston Sloane is an affordable city comfort bike build around a strong hi-tensile steel frame.
With frame geometry to give an upright riding position the pressure is removed from the lower back and the adjustable stem gives you the ability to fine tune your riding position to suit you.
"Shimano" 18 speed gears with Microshift rotational shifters make gear selection very simple and quick.
700C / 28" wheels with city tyres are narrower than mountain bike tyres and, therefore, easy rolling and ideal for tarmac, light gravel tracks or towpaths. Also benefiting from double walled rims they are more robust than standard rims.
The Sloane benefits from powerful alloy V brakes to provide you with assured braking, full length mudguards and chain guard for clean cycling.
Although the Kingston Sloane is a traditional city bike it has modern styling and a great blend of durable modern components throughout.
A versatile bike that has many extras as standard so a good option for your daily commute or family weekend rides.
Weight of complete bike is approximately 15.5 kgs
19" frame suitable for inside leg range of 29" to 34"

Product Review: good for the money but dont expect much
Bought this after Xmas and its not bad actually.
Very cheap, so the pedals are plastic crap (swapped mine already), the gears click & rattle and need adjustment. The brakes needed adjustment, everything was loose and the bike generally needed a damn good oiling... having said that - its still a good bike for the money. The wheels are great, you dont need to worry about potholes but you actually cover some ground when you pedal unlike most mountain bikes. The chain & mud guards work great in the rain, I wore trousers on my commute to work & got there clean!
The handlebar grips are immensely uncomfortable & thin (change these!)
The gear twist shifters are pretty horrible and tend to change up or down on you at random but maybe thats just a personal taste thing - changing mine for rapid fire thumb-shifters tomorrow.
Otherwise cant say much else against it - bargain bu be prepared to do a bit of setting-up & fine tuning
