Product Review: Cheap and nasty
Bought this item for my twelve year old as a Xmas gift and have only just unpacked and assembled. Returned the first one delivered as was obvious when looking into the box that it was damaged. Once assembled the second bike was so out of adjustment that I had to employ a mobile cycle technician to set it up and do a safety check. The wheels had to be trued as out of alignment, brakes set up and the gears took a great deal of effort to get them into some semblance of usability as they are low quality components. Product Review: 50cc Bike Engine Kit
The delivery arrived before estimated date and customer service was helpful during installation.
Upon receiving this 50cc engine kit I was surprised at the good quality of this little engine when I opened up the box.
Did not have much of a problem installing it to my bike, any one with good basic mechanical skills could fit one of these to their bike with ease, baring in mind one or two things such as the rear wheel can not have any disc brakes as this is where the sprocket needs to be and I found myself having to buy a new rear wheel and V brake and adapt them to fit my bike.
Also found that my handle bars were too short to accommodate the clutch lever and throttle mechanism, so had to get longer handle bars and do away with the grip shift gear changers and replace them with smaller thumb shift gear changers.
Now all fits and works well and recently finished the installation.

Ordered this bike for my daughter at christmas, only neglected to consider the frame size and went by wheel size only. I'm a complete nerd lol However, as it is giant size for her and fits mum perfectly.. I now have a very girly flash new bike n set to get fit for the summer. This is my third SLR Flow Kit Carbonio Saddle. I'm not going to waste a lot of time extolling the virtues of this saddle. But it wouldn't be a smart move to keep buying one if it wasn't any good? I've also used the Specialized Romin which is also another great saddle.

The bottom line (sorry about that) is it simply comes down to the width of your sit-bones, your type of riding and your style of riding. Check out a friends saddle or borrow one, as a quick trip around the block is no indicator of whether a saddle is going to work for you or not. This one does!

Product Review: Good quality and comfort but heavy
I needed a pair of shoes for road / off-road use and was able to get these for a good price. The styling is not too 'loud' and I suppose I was lured to some extent by the claim of 'competition quality' at a sport price.

I had previously read that they were on the heavy side, but even so I was surprised that in size 46 they were about 1kg - more than double the weight of my regular trainers. Of course, the extra weight uses up more energy when spinning which is a shame. The ability to transfer more power through the upstroke is what I was really after, so I accepted the weight penalty as a necessary evil.

I had to buy a size larger than normal as Shimano sizes are on the tight side. The shoes are very comfortable, and the velcro system is so convenient allowing adjustments on the move.

The studs at the front of the shoes give good grip on steep grassy banks, but are lethal when coming to rest on tarmac - like trying to set your foot down on ice ! I...

Well i saw this bike and it looks bit different from the usual full suspension bikes mainly because of how the rear shock is fitted and i saw the price and thought I'd get one.
It got delivered within two days and i got my brother to put it together as i havent been on a bike in over 14 years.
He said it was easy to put together

I picked it up today and first impressions, wow it looks great.
I think it stands out from other bikes.
It's a far cry from the old raleigh chopper

I went on a three mile ride to try it out and everything works fine.
The suspension works great, so do the brakes.Even the saddles comfortable for the first mile but admittedly my rear hasnt been on a saddle in years.
The gears didnt slip and so far its brilliant.
For the price its a bargin.
Now i'm 6 ft tall and weigh 15.5 stone and it took my weight no problem

Ok you have tried many rear cycle mount as I have, you realize they scratch your car, covers your no plate and takes up space in the garage. You have to fit a lighting plug. If carrying more than one decent bike, they scratch each other. So now you are looking at roof mounted carrier, the 591. Where has it been all this time? It's brilliant. Ok you have to put a roof rack on, but the 591 clamps on in seconds after the first fitting. Your bike is fitted in 20 secs. safe and secure. Product Review: When you have tried others stop here
Have had a lot of headsets and given my riding conditions and hours got fed up of changing or having a clunky headset for a few months before I decided I had got my moneys worth. Time will tell if this lasts me through a second winter season but apparently Hope are rather forgiving when you contact them and send stuff in (ie they send you a new one as long as its general usage as the cause)

Product Review: WORTH A PUNT
Having used this a couple of times for the money you can't go wrong. Set up is easy and it does exactly what you want it to do. Construction is solid and robust. It doesn't seem the type of item that will fall apart after a few months. It was delivered before the date I was told which was a bonus.

Product Review: Great gloves!
I was originally planning on buying some Rapha gloves, but just couldn't justify the price (although I am sure they are worth it). Then I came across a reveiw of these and thought they ticked all the boxes, I haven't been disappointed. They fit very snug, are comfortable and remarkably they keep your hands from freezing (went out when it was 3C) whilst not being to warm when the weather picks up. As a dentist, hand protection is so important and I can't recommend these enough :-)

Product Review: meaty lock
Just got mine today and was impressed by how sturdy (and heavy) it is. The keys are also pretty thick which is not always the case with bike locks, I have found on a few occasions that it is often the key that lets the lock down because they are too flimsy. I think I will have to find a couple of new places to lock my bike because the size of this would prohibit its use on some of my usual anchor points. I,m glad I bought this lock because it inspires confidence and it must be worth the extra for peace of mind..the thieves would really struggle with this lock and more than likely seek an easier target. If you are considering this check all the reviews on its competitors and you will find this lock is the bees knees.

Product Review: First impressions
This trailer retails at a price very much below similar products, but favourable reviews here persuaded me that it would be worth trying it out. When I opened the box, I was pleased to see that the components all looked sturdy, and they had all been carefully packed and protected with bubble-wrap. The separate components are: wheel, mudguard, trailer body (folded flat), trailer coupling fork, 2-part flag, and a plastic bag containing two quick-release 'skewers', one for attaching the wheel, and the other for coupling the trailer to the cycle rear wheel axle. Although the instruction sheet mentions two special nuts to replace the latter in the event of the cycle having a solid axle unable to take the skewer provided, they were not present. More of that later. As has been noted elsewhere, the English instruction sheet is truly woeful, and it is fortunate that assembly of the trailer is largely a matter of common-sense.
